<Preliminary Lecture>

Dates: Saturday, August 2, 2025 – Monday, August 11, 2025 (10 days, on-site)
Location: Hiroshima University
Theme: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in “The Future of Work and Society”
Description: Students learned about the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various fields, the benefits and risks of AI, as well as AI ethics, policies, and regulations. Based on an understanding of AI’s impact and role in “The Future of Work and Society,” joint U.S.-Japan student teams worked on proposals for implementing AI in society and solving related challenges. The program aimed to improve the students’ AI literacy while equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to become globally-minded leaders in the age of AI.
