This past summer, three students from the University of Texas at Austin participated in an internship at Hiroshima University.
This was made possible for the second consecutive year through the partnership between our two universities.
Internship at the Smart Robotics Lab
Approx. 3 months, Mid-May to Early August
Internship as an assistant for the Sasakawa Foundation/Columbia University Summer Program at the Study Abroad Exchange Group.
Approx. 2 months, Late June to Mid-August
*During their program, the student also completed a two-week internship at Satake Corporation, where they learned about rice milling machines and the food industry, while also experiencing Japanese corporate culture.
