While our virtual exchanges had previously been mainly with the University of Texas at Austin, this was the first time students from Arizona State University and Purdue University participated, making this a four-university exchange. Since 2025 marked the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings, the theme of “AI, Memory, and Heritage” seemed to be of particular interest to students at U.S. universities as well.
More than 30 students from our university participated, primarily those who will be taking part in a short-term study program in the U.S. during spring break.
After a 45-minute lecture by a faculty member from our university, participants split into groups of 10 for discussions, presented their findings, and concluded with a Q&A session.
